dc.description.abstractThe purposes of this research were to find and enhance Chinese listening and speaking skills by applying multimedia technology and interactive teaching approach to Thai students at a private university, and to investigate Thai students' perceptions on the integration of multimedia technology and interactive teaching approach in Chinese courses. In the data collection process, the researcher applied the methodology of the quantitative method for gaining 35 students’ pre-test and post-test scores and a set of questionnaires for a survey of students’ opinions toward this teaching method. The statistical method used for this data analysis was the sample t-test and descriptive analysis to compare the mean, standard deviations, and percentage. The research results revealed that Thai students’ post-test score increased after applying multimedia technology and interactive teaching approach in teaching Chinese listening and speaking, and the students' perceptions on the integration of multimedia technology and interactive teaching approach in Chinese courses were at very high positive level. The findings suggested that Thai universities with Chinese classes, should apply multimedia technology and interactive teaching approach in teaching Chinese, as well as the teachers should also apply an interactive teaching approach as a form of learning and communication activitiesen_US
