dc.title | Analysis and design of constant frequency quasi-resonant double soft-switching boost converter using state-plane diagram | en_US |
dc.type | Thesis | en_US |
dc.description.other-abstract | In this thesis, four novel quasi-resonant double soft-switching boost converters under constant switching frequency operation are proposed. Each proposed converter consists of two MOSFETs, which are operated with pulse width modulation (PWM) under zero voltage switching (ZVS) or zero current switching (ZCS) condition. With low switching loss, the proposed concept allows the converters to operate at high switching frequencies. The state-plane diagram method will be applied for the converter analysis. In addition, the state-plane diagram has been used for deriving constant switching frequency operation for the proposed converter topologies. Converter design as well as computer simulation via PSIM are also presented for analysis validation | en_US |
