dc.description.other-abstractThis research investigated whether the use of the Fun Dubbing Application improved the speaking skills of 31 Chinese grade 6 students and further explored their satisfaction towards the use of the Fun Dubbing Application. A class was randomly selected from four classes in the grade 6 of a primary school as the research sample. The selected class used the Fun Dubbing Application as a study material to improve their English speaking skills. The quantitative data were collected through pretest and posttest, and the questionnaire was analyzed and interpreted using an inferential statistics t-test with a p<0.05 significance level, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that the mean score of the pretest is 12.03; the mean score of the posttest is 15.80, and a mean difference is 3.77. In addition, the important obtained value (p) is 0.000. The results showed that posttest scores were higher when compared to the pretest scores of all 31 students. The results of the questionnaire also revealed the students' positive satisfaction towards the Fun Dubbing Application. Therefore, the results of the study showed that the Fun Dubbing Application had a positive effect on the students speaking English skills.en_US
