| dc.description.other-abstract | Policy agricultural insurance is an important tool for agricultural risk management, but it also faces some problems in the process of implementation. This study aims to explore the relationship between government support, agricultural insurance demand, insurance supply capacity and agricultural insurance performance, so as to optimize regional insurance strategies and improve policy effects. In this study, the expert interview method and structural equation model (SEM) are used to analyze the mixed research method. Five experts were interviewed to assess the impact of farmers' insurance awareness, government subsidies, claims efficiency, product adaptability, and local government actions on performance. 400 households in eastern, central and western Guangdong were selected by stratified sampling to conduct quantitative analysis of the questionnaire data and explore the relationship between each factor. The findings show that government policy support, insurance supply capacity, and farmers' demand significantly affect insurance performance. In addition, the correlation matrix analysis of 13 observed variables affecting agricultural insurance performance shows that when CMIN/DF=1.112, RMR=0.053, RMSEA=0.017. GFI=0.895, CFI=0.99. The model fits well with the empirical data. The study provides practical suggestions for policy makers and insurance institutions to optimize policies and services, which will help improve agricultural insurance performance and farmers' insurance willingness | en_US |
