dc.description.other-abstractThis thesis aims to study Bag Rethinking, reducing stress for travel. The objectives of this research were 1) to confirm that there are target groups wishing for travel bag redesign, and 2) to identify target group’s wants and needs. Then, the study finds out the best solution to fulfill their wants and needs on bag when traveling. The research methodology employed mixed method by starting with literature review, totaling four articles and journals. After that, the researcher conducted a survey to collect the wants and needs of bags from 43 participants. The researcher established a case study on five brands that are famous for their backpacks and three brands that are making backpacks more specifically for travelers. According to the research result and discussion, the researcher found out the most stressful reason for using backpacks in traveling is disorder of storage. The best way to solve this problem is to redesign the interior space of the backpack and establish order while maintaining storage efficiency. To achieve this purpose, the best way is to use isolated pad with Velcro design. The conclusion of this research involves rethinking the plan and implemented it. Overall, the needs and wants of the target group are fulfilled, while the basic appearance aesthetic remainsen_US
