| dc.description.other-abstract | This research aims to reflect on the interactive teaching methods employed by educators in Thai primary schools to enhance students' Chinese vocabulary skills and to explore the significance of these methods in Chinese vocabulary learning. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, the study collected data through interviews and observations at a primary school in Bangkok. Grounded theory was used to identify two primary objectives: 1) to identify the specific interactive teaching techniques used by teachers to enhance students' Chinese vocabulary skills; and 2) to understand the broader impact of interactive teaching on the acquisition of Chinese vocabulary among Thai primary school students. The findings reveal that interactive teaching methods, including game interactions and teacher-student Q&A sessions, not only stimulated enthusiasm among teachers and students but also fostered positive teacher-student relationships. Furthermore, these methods significantly improved students' Chinese vocabulary proficiency, learning interest, and confidence. The research highlights the importance of integrating interactive teaching strategies into the Chinese language curriculum design in Thai primary schools. Detailed lesson plans are provided in the Appendix, offering valuable insights for language educators and policymakers | en_US |
