The study outlines the current status of railroad logistics in the two countries, emphasizing the advantages of energy-saving and low-carbon railroad transport. The study assesses the current state of railroad logistics development, emphasizing the rapid advancement of railroad logistics technology in China and the superior strategic location of Thailand. The study found that key opportunities include policy support and technological innovation, which are essential to advancing the sustainable development of railroad logistics. Key challenges include infrastructure constraints, technological upgrades, and effective policy frameworks that hinder the sustainable development of railroad logistics. This study provides policy recommendations, suggesting that increasing investment in technology research and infrastructure, encouraging green practice policy reforms, and optimizing international cooperation can achieve the sustainable development of railroad logistics. The study advocates an integrated approach that combines technological innovation with strong policy support to optimize the sustainable development of global rail logistics. The study aims to provide strategic guidance to businesses, policymakers and future research directions to help them cope with the complexities of sustainable development in the rail logistics industryen_US
