dc.description.abstractThis research employed the method of literature analysis to understand the results of domestic and foreign scholars' research on occupational stress. Occupational stress is divided into challenging and obstructive pressures by their nature, and what is the relationship between the two and the burnout of private college counselors? Based on the resource conservation theory and work demand resource model, the survey was conducted through semi-structured interviews and questionnaire surveys. The current status of challenging and obstructive stressors was analyzed and determined, and 63 valid data on challenging-obstructive and burnout were collected by using the Challenging-Obstructive Stressor Scale and the Burnout Scale. SPSS26 was used to conduct descriptive statistical analysis of the participants, correlation analysis between various research variables and regression analysis, looking for the relationship between burnout and challenge-hindrance. The results revealed that H1: challenging stress which has a negative correlation with burnout is not established; H2: The positive correlation between obstructive stress and burnout verifies that both challenging stress and obstructive stress can cause burnout and differ only in degree; therefore, both challenging stressors and obstructive stressors require the attention of managers.en_US
