| metadata.dc.description.other-abstract: | This study uses a qualitative research method of expert interviews to conduct a comparative analysis of logistics management in the major e-commerce platforms driven by China and Thailand – China’s Jingdong and Taobao, as well as Thailand’s Lazada and TikTok. Starting from the study of the three flows of the supply chain (information flow, money flow, and material flow) and the logistics 7Rs principle, the efficiency and inefficiency of current logistics practices are discussed, and the impact of infrastructure and technology on logistics e-commerce is analyzed. Methods to improve logistics service quality are proposed. The study found that Chinese e-commerce platforms perform well in terms of logistics efficiency. However, Thailand’s e-commerce platforms face challenges in logistics efficiency. Infrastructure and technology have a significant impact on e-commerce logistics in both countries. China has a relatively complete transportation network and advanced logistics technology, which provide strong logistics support for e-commerce platforms. In contrast, Thailand’s logistics infrastructure development is uneven, transportation is inconvenient in some areas, and the application level of logistics technology is low, which limits the logistics efficiency of e-commerce platforms |
