metadata.dc.description.other-abstract: This article refers to the prediction theory based on the expectation model theory, which regards turnover intention as a variable related to the turnover pattern and self-expectation as an independent variable; the loneliness in the workplace is a moderating variable, focusing on empirical research, hoping to supplement self-expectation and turnover emotion theory. Taking labor-intensive employees in Shanghai, China as the survey object, a total of 435 valid questionnaires were collected, and descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis were used for research. The results found that self-expectation significantly negatively affects turnover intention. In terms of dimensions, success expectation significantly negatively affects turnover intention, and self-efficacy expectation does not affect turnover intention. Workplace loneliness plays a negative role in self-expectation and turnover intention. High workplace loneliness will reduce the correlation between self-expectation and turnover intention, and low workplace loneliness will enhance the correlation between self expectation and turnover intention. Workplace loneliness has no negative moderating effect on success expectations and turnover intention. Workplace loneliness plays a negative role in self-efficacy expectations and turnover intention. Different demographic background variables have significant differences in self-expectations, workplace loneliness, and turnover intention
