metadata.dc.description.other-abstract: This study uses the creative art education in kindergartens in Qujing City, Yunnan Province, as an example to explore teachers' attitudes, perceptions, innovations, and creativity towards children's creative art activities. The research subjects include 261 kindergarten teachers and ten kindergarten principals from 10 public kindergartens. This study adopts a mixed-methods research approach, using two research tools: a questionnaire survey and a semi-structured interview. The quantitative research results show that kindergarten art teachers' attitudes and perceptions towards creativity and innovation significantly influence their choices of art teaching activities, consisting of evaluating and perceiving teaching activities, planning classroom activities, setting classroom goals, choosing specific art activities, adopting creative art activities and creative art activities. Teachers' positive attitudes and high creativity levels significantly promote the quality of art education. The qualitative research results revealed the differences in art education resources and teaching methods across the kindergartens.
