| metadata.dc.description.other-abstract: | This study aimed to explore the intentions to use innovative instructional methods of Micro-Lecture and PAD Class in teaching Tai Chi in the universities in Guangdong Province. The study used both the quantitative survey to predict intentions to use Micro-Lecture and PAD Class to teach Tai Chi and the qualitative of the semi structure interview to obtain administrators’ perspectives to better PE Education in teaching Tai Chi. 291 subjects were administered with questionnaires concerning intentions to use Micro-lecture and PAD Class to teach Tai Chi, while 12 informants who are PE Head Instructors/Administrators were interviewed to gain guidelines for better teaching Tai Chi future courses with Micro-Lecture and PAD Class. Descriptive analysis with mean, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage was performed, followed by multiple regression. The research findings indicated significant positive correlations among all three components and ITU, with PU exerting the strongest influence. Specifically, physical educators commonly believed that Micro-lecture and PAD classes would significantly enhance teaching efficiency, boost student interest in learning, and facilitate the achievement of instructional objectives. The results of this study, thus, provided not only the empirical evidence of PE instruction reform by using innovative teaching methods of Micro-Lecture and PAD Class but also the guidelines of how to elevate the level of teaching Tai Chi, particularly in the universities of Guangdong Province. |
